Tangier postal stationery

This is a simplified listing. The numbers below follow on from those used for Morocco (Spanish currency) The only postal stationery overprinted for Tangier is registered envelopes, and these did not appear until 1950, well after all other overprinted registered letters had stopped being used.
Registration envelopes
MR10-13 King George VI. 5½d brown envelope overprinted TANGIER. 1950. sizes F, G, H, K.
MR14-18 King George VI. 6½d purple envelope overprinted TANGIER. 1950. sizes F, G, H, K.
MR19-21 King George VI. 8½d grey envelope overprinted TANGIER. 1953. sizes G, H, K.
MR22 as above but seriffed font in instructions at the top. 1953. size G. These were only issued unoverprinted in sizes F & G, and size F was not issued with the Tangier overprint in any of the series shown here. The seriffed font continued for sizes F & G of the Queen Elizabeth series below.
MR23-24 Queen Elizabeth. 8½d grey envelope overprinted TANGIER. 1955. sizes G, H. The size G shows the same seriffed font as No. MR21 above, and the size H shows the sans-serif font as in MR18-20 above.
