Air letters
1 Queen Elizabeth. Red air letter overprinted "QATAR 40 np". 1 April 1957.
2 as No. 1 but rate reduced to 30 np. type I. 1959.
- type I: bars unevenly spaced, 0.5 mm gap between left bars and "Q".
3 as No. 2 but type II.
- type II: bars evenly spaced, 2mm gap between left bars and "Q", 1mm gap after "NP".
4 As No. 3 but type III.
- type III: bars evenly spaced, 1.5mm gap between left bars and "Q", 2mm gap after "NP".
